Poolhall Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a leading construction contractor delivering major structural and mixed-use developments. Key Responsibilities

Site Management

Manage day-to-day construction activities and site operations.

Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, materials, and equipment.

Produce daily work plans and oversee site logistics.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.

Monitor progress and provide regular site updates.

Quality & Subcontractor Management

Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site activities.

Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).

Carry out inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.

Identify and report project risks, defects, and non-conformances.

Maintain accurate site and quality records.

Health & Safety

Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Review and maintain RAMS documentation.

Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.

Conduct regular site inspections and audits.

Promote a positive safety culture and address any audit findings promptly.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' experience in construction site management.

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification.

Strong understanding of UK construction health and safety requirements.

Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.

Knowledge of construction methodologies and project delivery processes.

Background in concrete, steel-frame, structural, or heavy construction projects preferred.

Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

Proactive, self-motivated, and solutions-focused approach.
