How registration works

Candidate Registration & Application Process

Pre-registering with Poolhall takes just a couple of minutes. Once registered, you’ll become part of our talent network. We’ll be in touch when we identify a vacancy that matches your skills and experience, or when we feel an organisation within our network may be interested in your profile. Should an opportunity arise, we’ll guide you through the process, whether that’s preparing for a permanent role interview or completing the registration requirements for a temporary assignment.

This gives us an opportunity to:

3. Registration & Compliance

If you’re being considered for a temporary assignment, we’ll ask you to complete a full registration, either remotely or in person.

For permanent positions, we may only need to carry out identification and Right to Work checks before progressing your application.

4. Right to Work Checks

Right to Work checks are only carried out when you’re progressing with a specific vacancy, whether that’s before an interview, client submission, or offer stage.

We use a government-regulated Identity Service Provider (IDSP) to complete secure digital Right to Work checks where applicable. In some cases, additional or original documents may still be required, and we’ll guide you through the process if needed.

For temporary assignments, we’ll collect the information needed to pay you correctly and meet legal requirements, including:
• Contact details
• Emergency contact information
• Bank details
• National Insurance information
• Terms of Engagement and contract documentation

Where possible, everything is completed digitally to make the process quick and straightforward.
